In Debian bug #929835 it was reported that there is no -c shorthand for --config-file (in fact there is none), instead it has been claimed by --certificate-file. I agree that this is unfortunate but I'm not sure what a good way out is. One could just take the decision to redefine -c or introduce a new letter for config-file, I guess.
