RE: WebARonArcore #119
Comments
I have same question , I use pixel(have arcore ), always show this |
@GeorgeDevDeakin, @544531645, I suggest trying Chrome Dev if the AR examples don't work for you on Chrome Canary. WebARonARCore seems inactive. It looks like that experiment succeeded and development has been mainlined into Chromium (and thus Chrome). |
Most of the experiments have moved on to the WebXR device spec rather than the WebVR 1.1 spec + AR, which is what WebARonARCore and WebARonARKit are based off of. Unfortunately, the WebXR device spec is insanely volatile at the moment so the API's listed in both the official google blog posts + the Mozilla docs all seem to be out of date and don't seem to work in either Chrome + webxr mode or the Mozilla webxr viewer. Would be great to get any sort of info related to what API's we can use at the moment while things are in flux as opposed to having to read through the JS bridges manually to figure out what specs we should shoot for. |
@eweitz I download the chrome Dev , it is also not work |
I got the same issue I tested all version with my main different android/ios devices with many different chrome versions; Just name it.. |
Hi
I work for a University and we are trying out a lot of web technologies that are on the go. I have downloaded one of your libraries form codelabs. A simple AR experience we have been looking into. It worked like a charm(100%). How ever I am trying to utilise this library which I just recently downloaded. Three.ar.js.master. I am getting this message which brings me to a halt.
I have all the things installed and all specifications activated. I have an Android Galaxy S8 with ARcore installed plus the webARonARcore installed. What could this be? I have looked everywhere to see why this is happening.
I hope you can help me with this.
Thank you
