Sometimes when viewing structural errors or latency and often when viewing structural services a trace will take multiple paths:

It would be nice to communicate the frequency with which the two paths occurs. Opacity could be used and may look clever, but that might also be difficult to interpret. I'll leave the communication of this to the experts.
