As you can see from the image- grafana shows the placement of the upper line in the graph (809 in this case) - where I would have expected it to be a total of the color I had chosen (would IMHO also make more sense in most cases).

If stack is enabled you have an option next to the stack option if the hover should show cumulative or individual value. Looks like you have the cumulative option (ie sum of values below including the one you hover over). Try changing this dropdowb option (in edit mode, style tab) to individual
