My team has been developing a large-format CNC machine for the last 2 years. We are currently seeking a grblHAL expert to help spearhead the balance of firmware development for this machine. GrblHAL knowledge is critical, as is the ability to roll up your sleeves and really jump in to help directly code and guide the team. Other good skills include- STM32 knowledge and CNC background.
Unique Features List of the machine:
onboard joystick for manual motion control
sensoreless homing- BLDC spindle and 5W diode laser both onboard; ability to easily swap from one to the other- spindle / vacuum auto-start and shut-off
Color changing LED lights, depending on machine status- onboard camera and speaker operation
in addition to standard limit switches, onboard safety sensors within the tower for auto-pause during object detection
Weekly workload would be 5-15hrs, rate negotiable.
