enhancing the "Explore hackathons page" UI

issue : The dark background and the content (icons) lack clear separation, making the page feel flat.

How i plan to solve that is :
Add a subtle light gray or blue shadow behind the icons in dark mode.
Use a slightly lighter shade of black for the background to improve depth.
Introduce card-style containers with a slight border radius and background color (#1e1e2e, for example) to house the icons..

Can u assign me this issue under swoc?
