You can create one! http://vagrantup.com/docs/base_boxes.html

We've already had a few contributors create base boxes with much success. Let us know in #vagrant or the mailing list if you need any help.

I'm sure its only a matter of time until someone makes one anyways :D

yes i saw that :) waht i didn't see is, is there a list somewhere of the available bases? i.e like the vmware image marketplace sort of thing?

bugga. after upgrading to lucid, halting, started and not being able to connect, i started it with gui and got:

Unfortunately that looks like some VM issue (bad hardware, bad OS installation, etc.) that is unrelated to Vagrant! =[
