Pinning Responsibility Once NFT Sold: Owner vs Buyer

Do you know who is responsible for pinning NFTs once the collection is sold, owner or buyer? I found an article that states that you could offer a warranty such as willing to pin for x number of years and then it's the owners responsibility. Trying to figure out the norm? I couldn't find much information about this. Tried discord. Thanks!
