The last available release on PyPI (and conda) is 0.10.0 from almost 2 years ago. Would be cool if there could be a new release. :)

and most important, current version on conda and PyPi does not work with Spark > 2.4.1, otherwise you get this error:
PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/home/XXX/anaconda3/envs/myenv-name/lib/python3.6/site-packages/pyspark/./bin/spark-submit'

Tested with Spark 2.4.2 to 2.4.5 if all fail.

Except not yet the PyPI releases... Is this planned to be added again @holdenk? It's still mentioned in the README at least... 🤔

So I don't have any changes to the Python code in the intervening years -- I can add it to our test matrix and we can upload to PyPi but unless there are any changes to the Python code I don't see a reason to update Python package.

Thanks for the quick response! Assuming the code still works unchanged, there should still be releases IMO, because no-one on the python side can know that 0.10 is actually equivalent to 1.4.3 (at least by default that fails, see the report above; I forgot to copy my errors into the issue when I created it)...

If you want to share the latest error we can work on fixing the issues and making a 3.X release together.

Alright, cool. I'll try to find what I was doing at the time (3 years ago 😱), or come up with a new reproducer, and report back
