Overlay with static methods have issues opening it 2 twice

Are you injecting new dom elements to the page or otherwise mutate the existing dom? In that case you need to re-initialize the callbacks for new elements. Try calling HSStaticMethods.autoInit() (or use a component-specific one, like HSOverlay.autoInit().
