It is common to use scientific notation like p = 3.25×10⁻⁴⁸ - this uses the U+270x superscripts and subscripts code range. Sadly Alegreya is missing ⁻ (U+207B) and it means we cannot write scientific notation properly. It would be wonderful to add support for ⁻ (screenshot using fontgoggles):
