D2L doesn't provide one time signed URL for its files like other LMS.

In summary the plan is to:

  • Allow via to get a parameters with encrypt headers
  • Support those headers encryption on h-vialib
  • Send the authorization header from LMS to via by that mechanism and make the "retirive PDF bytes" API request from Via.
