Setting more than 2 UARTs in MSP mode fails after reboot

Hi. In PORTS tab, I'm experiencing hard time trying to set 2 additionnal UARTs (UART_02 + UART_03) in MSP mode before I even set the corresponding sensors (Lidar & Optical Flow) in the CONFIGURATION tab. (iNAV 8.0)

Whatever I do, setting UARTS 02 + 03 in MSP mode fails after reboot.

Has anyone got a clue about this. I'm maybe missing something !

Currently you can have MSP on up to two UARTs, plus the USB for a total of three. Which LIDAR and optic flow sensors are you using? Also, I'm curious which MSP device you have on uart 1?

Thanks for your quick feedback... I'm trying to use these two devices :

. an RM3100 magnetometer (Mateksys CAN-L4-3100) which is to be wired on UART_03 in MSP mode (it perfectly works hooked-up individually this way)

. a Lidar/OpticalFlow combo (MicoAir MTF-01) connected to UART_02 in MSP mode (it also perfectly works hooked-up individually this way)

I'm desperate iNav keeps resetting these MSP switches each time I save/reboot the config (even before setting MSP in the relevant sensor devices in the CONFIGURATION tab - Magnetometer/RangerFinder/OpticalFlow

Okay so that's two MSP devices. What's the third? What's on UART1 that needs MSP?

If you don't have an MSP device on UART1, you can turn that off and you'll be good to go.

I was assuming UART_01 should not be switched-off because of the misleading message still displayed on top of the listing:

UART_01 is not what i assumed to be the USB port (in fact UART_00 which is not anymore displayed in the 8.0 version).

Solved. All devices recognized as they should !

Ah yes, we can probably remove that message now, since we no longer provide the option of removing it from VCP (USB), except via CLI.
