Since GitHub renders notebooks, this seems like a feasible idea. Even if it won't work when viewing on GitHub, it would still be occasionally useful for people viewing the notebook in Jupyter who spontaneously decide to switch to Colab.

I was browsing https://github.com/ibm-granite-community/granite-snack-cookbook/blob/main/recipes/Granite_Guardian/Granite_Guardian_Usage_Governance_Workflow.ipynb on GitHub and it occurred to me that it would be great if I could click a Colab button right there and open this notebook in Colab immediately. Right now, I would have to know that I can navigate to the project README to find that link, which is a bit tedious.
