Preview and split preview empty

Markdown editor - latest.

When I open a new Markdown file, I see the preview.
However, for existing files, I do not see the preview.
Especially even with those that have mermaid integrated.

I have already cleared the browser cache and tried different browsers.
Unfortunately no change.
Is there a solution for this?
