It would be good if users could add their own queries for SQL Server (similar to PostgreSQL_Extensible plugin)

I have a need for this as well. I was actually going to hack on the standard plugin to add this behavior.

I know this is an old issue but I would love to see this feature come to live.
Edit: I now see there some recent action in the mentioned PR.

This is possible using the sql input plugin since quite some time. Therefore closing this issue. If I'm missing something here, please reopen the issue!
