The website has quite a bit of outdated information at the moment. It needs a complete overhaul.

  • new GitHub organization @iusrepo
  • IUS CDN changes
    • no more repoview content
    • remove all references to dl.iuscommunity.org
    • no more separate RHEL and CentOS repos
    • no more mirrorlist API
    • no more mirror network
  • no more package tester
  • no more version tracker

I'll elaborate on a few of the items above.

With the IUS CDN change, we are no longer generating repoview content. Its structure is highly dependent on the Group tag in spec files, and more and more of our packages are losing those because Fedora has deprecated them (we fork our spec files from Fedora). If you want to browse a list of IUS packages, the best way to do that is to look in the @iusrepo organization for repositories with the rpm topic. This is what the new website will link to.

dl.iuscommunity.org is our legacy "master mirror", and only has the content from before the switch to the CDN. It shouldn't be used for anything.

The new site is in the iusrepo.github.io repo. I have enabled GitHub pages for that repo. GitHub is provisioning the cert to serve it at a custom domain (ius.io), and it should be live within 24 hours.

Edit: the new site is live.
