What happened?

I only have Tidal and Youtube, for search, and when I searched for an artist, the artist would show up right at the top of the results. If it wasn't 1, it was probably 3 in the results list.
But now, the artist probably won't show up in the results. But, some of the albums of the artists I'm looking for show up in the album results, so what I do is I go to that album and from there to the artist I was looking for.
This was not happening before.
I dont know, if this was a change in Iris... or maybe in Mopidy-Tidal, but, there it is.
Thanks.

Can you please provide a working example? What is an artist, album or playlist you're searching for that one would expect to show near the top of results?

Also, it might be a silly question, but have you tried clicking into the search results of that type (ie click on the title text above the section of thumbnail results)?

@jaedb jaedb changed the title The search practically never returns the searched artist. Search not returning expected results Aug 7, 2023

Hi.
As you can see here as an example when i search for The Doors.
imagen

..............sorry i just notice that is organized by "name"...............................
Anyway i dont know why appears "ammy virk" first, "aquasky", etc. (start with "a"... but.. there is no "the doors" there), but anyway, if i search for "popularity" all works as expected.

Thanks and sorry
