The Jakarta EE platform is working on it's own version of the sigtest-maven-plugin to aid in quicker resolutions of issues with the plugin, and to add features that are beneficial to the TCKs.

Once this function (eclipse-ee4j/jakartaee-tck-tools#20) is added we should consider updating to the jakarta version of the sigtest-maven-plugin.
