Some Carriers / SIP trunking providers require us to send INVITEs through an outbound proxy. drachtio-server supports this feature but jambonz currently does not. On the carrier page, we should have a guard checkbox something like "Use SIP Proxy on outbound". When checked the section should expand and we should collect one field, labeled "SIP proxy address". The user may enter something like any of the following in this field:

  • 10.3.55.6
  • 10.3.55.6:5060
  • sip:10.3.55.6
  • sip.example.com
  • sip.example.com;transport=tls
