<h2>Attire</h2>
<p>
Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably, creatively, and
incorporating their favorite color. Keep in mind that we are
planning an outdoor ceremony in Oregon...stuffy formal attire
and fancy footwear are not recommended.
</p>

<section id="gifts" class="section">
<h2>Gifts</h2>
<p>
The very best gift we can possibly receive is your presence at
our celebration and your love, support, and advice as we
embark on this adventure together.
</p>
<p>
We recognize that especially for those of you coming from far
away, simply attending will already entail spending money on
travel and accommodations. The gift of your presence and
participation is more than enough to fill our hearts
amply. Between the two of us, we have nearly a half-century of
accumulated goods (read: way more than we need), and are in
the process of paring down our material belongings as we save
and prepare for purchasing a home. Should you still feel the
desire to give after all is said and done, homemade and
handmade presents or a gift towards our down payment are
welcomed and appreciated.

<section id="camping" class="section">
<h2>Camping</h2>
<p>
Please come camp with us in community August 1-5 or any part
thereof--we have reserved two large group campsites (Steelhead
and Chinook) at Milo McIver State Park with a dedicated family
camping area for friends with children.
</p>
<p>
Milo McIver State Park is located in Estacada, Oregon (just
southeast of Portland on the Clackamas River), with room for
everyone. The campsites are in a secluded area attached to a
huge meadow with volleyball courts and a trail down to the
river. Camping will be car-camping style--the campsites are
drive-up, and have picnic tables, fire pits, and running
water. There are grocery stores 10 minutes away in Estacada,
and many more 20-30 minutes away in Portland. If you’re not
the cooking-outside type, there are plentiful eateries within
a short drive. Hot showers (coin-operated) are located 200
yards from the group campsites.
</p>
<p>
Guests are encouraged to collaborate and share group meals and
equipment and participate in making an awesome community
experience.
</p>
<p>
If staying elsewhere, we invite you to come hang out during the day.

<h2>Activities</h2>
<p>
Milo McIver State Park has one of the finest disc golf courses
in the area, and river tubing on the Clackamas River is within
a 10-minute drive. There are hiking, biking, and lounging
opportunities galore within the park and even more within an
hour’s drive (including hot springs and waterfalls--let us
know what you’re interested in and we can point you in the
right direction).
</p>
<p>
<strong>PLEASE NOTE</strong>: The Clackamas River can have
very strong currents! Please only swim and tube in safe,
designated areas, and watch children closely around river
access areas.
