have a look on ankidroid/Anki-Android#9576

Describe the solution you'd like
should be:

when choosing a desk, the related card-type should be set!

Describe alternatives you've considered
now: adding a new card, the first (?) desk is choosen with a desk-type not even belonging to that desk!
