Working towards making the app (semi) useful once Paul returns to the internet, a good first step would be to include an RSS feed of his articles. http://www.theverge.com/rss/group/offline/index.xml is the Atom feed for his Offline articles.

Hopefully by looking at things like https://github.com/nerdability/AndroidRssReader I can figure out a simple-enough parser/display.

Worth noting, Paul's articles may well not fall under that "group" after he's back online. A per-writer feed may well be coming (along with notifications on the site), however; see http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/9/4206262/rss-feeds-of-all-shows-and-podcasts-from-the-verge#155473403
