Testable Notebook documentation/tutorials

I'd like to help out setting up testable notebook documentation/tutorials. You could very easily set it up to run the tutorial on [Binder] too. Then the CI process can test this, and also ensure that documentation is generated in a format that is useful when people can't run Notebooks.

If this sounds good to you I'll help out after tackling #49. Any additional guidance or feedback here is welcome.
