I suggest replacing TYPE_MAGNETIC_FIELD (link) with TYPE_ORIENTATION.

The current one returns some values which tell me nothing, while the suggested one returns clean and simple azimuth (0-359), pitch (-180,180) and roll (-90,90), which can be actually used as a compass.
