When snapping two objects together the attributes of the stationary object are inherited by the object that is being snapped. Steps to recreate:

spawn 2 cubes unsnapped
-resize one and change its color
-move the augmented cube to the unaltered cube
-witness the alterations undo themselves

This is not high priority. It will be nice if we can, for example, snap a small cube onto a larger cube.
