Description

Fluffychat exits the old room when a room is being upgraded. This prevents me from accessing the old history.

To Reproduce

  1. Start a private chat, room version 1.
  2. Login both Element and Fluffychat into the account.
  3. Use Element's "/upgraderoom 5"
  4. Element now shows both rooms with the old one clearly marked as inactive and a link to the new one, clicking it just switches to the current room.
  5. Fluffychat shows both rooms as well. The old has a link to switch to the new room, clicking this exits the old room and causes loss of access to the old history, even for Element.

Additional information:

  • Device: iPhone SE (2020 or something like that)
  • OS and OS version: 14.8.1
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 1.3.0
  • (Android only) Which store are you using:
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available:

I haven't been able to test this recently, but assuming it still happens, it's a serious issue breaking my room upgrade workflow and practically kicking out FluffyChat users.
