Description

If a user redacts a message, it stays visible in the room list's last message preview line, as long as no newer message has been posted.

To Reproduce

  • Enter chatroom by clicking on the room in the room list.
  • Let another user write a message.
  • It will show up (possibly abbreviated) as a one-liner under the room name in the room list.
  • Let the other user redact the message.
  • It will be deleted from the main chat window.
  • The message preview one-liner under the room name is still visible.

Expected behavior

A redacted message shall disappear from all display areas, including the preview line.
The preview shall either be cleared, or the previous non-redacted message shall be displayed.

Additional information:

  • Device: PC
  • OS and OS version: Debian Linux Sid
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 1.5.0 flatpak
