From` previous experience doing a similar exercise you may want to consider checking multiple times over a time period before flagging a URL as a problem to avoid network issues and service downtime flagging URLs as not working

Obviously if they aren't working at the time you check them that's also of interest, but if they are back again 2 hours later it's a different type of issue to a permanently broken URL
