I’m studying diffuse field equalization, and I came across the method in this framework. The implementation looks solid and aligns well with the books I’ve read on the topic. However, I noticed in the examples that it uses quadrature weights to calculate the equalisation term, and I don’t fully understand why.
I realize this is probably something trivial, but if you have any references on the topic or know of a place where I can find a clear explanation, I’d greatly appreciate it!
