Allow authors to embargo questions during a class term. Open questions: set on the individual question level or is there a way to make this a batch process? can we we set it up to automatically expire after x months, or will author have to go back and manually reset?
Other ideas --
Matthew suggested adding settings for authors to make their questions searchable/not searchable as a way to protect questions from being viewed by students.
Accessibility settings -- author could mark question as totally public or accessible only if you log in or accessible only with the link.
But we should carefully consider how whatever scheme we implement impacts sharing/reuse. For example, if we let authors make their questions unsearchable indefinitely, authors could set this before a course and then never switch them back to searchable. Especially if it's hard to change the question settings (e.g. if you have to change the option for each individual question).
