Support for x86 device architectures #18
Comments
We have no plans in the short-term to support x86 architectures. Currently we're focusing on new OS versions. Sorry for that. |
Thanks for letting us know. We'll have to try making a custom build for Crosswalk x86 because several of our customer schools have devices that only work with an x86 build. |
Hello mcfarljw FYI, I've reopened this issue because we are going to integrate crosswalk in the CoocoonJS platform in a few weeks. |
You did it? |
Any news? :-) |
Yes, it is supported in the new cloud :). The beta will be released this week :). And there will be a new and up to date Webview+ too. |
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the current webview+ only supports ARM. This is by far the most common architecture, but based on our applications statistics about 4% of our users are using an x86 device. Supporting those devices has required us generate a separate build based on Crosswalk x86 for Cordova.
Is this something that is planned or something that might be supported in the future?
