Hi! Thank you for sharing this issue.

Which versions of both apps are you using? What's the command you use to launch Wine ? What version of macOS are you on?

Did you try contacting the maker of those apps to ask them about it. AltTab shows windows most of the time. Such an issue is probably stemming from these apps not using macOS windows in a standard way. Letting them know is useful so they can fix it. If it breaks AltTab, it probably breaks other accessibility apps like screen readers

MacOS 11.0.1 (20B50) (for initial message it was Catalina 10.15), AltTab - Version 6.12.0, Microsoft RDP - Version 10.4.1 (1825).
I just observe that window from second desktop (RDP session) doesn't appears again in AltTab, but when I call mission control and switch to second desktop with mouse cursor, then window appears in AltTab. Maybe it will help.

This ticket, as well as #335, seem to indicate that there is a general issue with these apps, not introduced by macOS 11, but happening on all sorts of versions of macOS

@stakly I think the fix I provided in #824 may also fix this ticket. Could you please try out the local build I shared here? #824 (comment)

Let me know if this fixes the issue for you!

@lwouis thanks for your support. It seems to me that problem with RDP is fixed, but Wine is still sometimes disappears from list. AltTab show "wine64-loader" with asterisk in right-upper corner, but doesn't show window (but windows exist).

@stakly this situation you describe is with the local build i shared above, or the latest public release?

Regarding Wine, i'm not sure i understand the issue entirely. Could you possible open another ticket since it seems different from the issue discussed here previously? A fresh ticket with steps to reproduce, video/screenshots would help me a lot to understand, reproduce, and fix the issue 👍
