Order tags alphabetically

By default, the list of tags is sorted by the date of last use and grouped by year. I find this very impractical. A visitor to my website doesn't know when I last used which tag. Example:

https://sattelgeschichten.ch/tags/

Similar to the keyword list in a book, I would like to sort the tags on my website alphabetically (a-z). Ideally grouped by initial letter. Example:

A

• Alfonso
• Anita
• Anton

B

• Berta
• Bettina
• Bruno

I didn't find what I was looking for in the templates for this theme. I did find the file layouts/partials/taxonomy/tags.html, but it doesn't seem to be the right one for my purpose.

Could someone please give me a hint?
