The solution for this initial problem seems to be to set the DISCORD_USERNAME value in .env file that you must create. This is basically the allow list. You need to also include the discriminator (magic number), and the value needed to be quoted on Linux at least.

Example:
DISCORD_USERNAME="coolkids#1234"
