Forge Compilation Errors

I have tried to install and use Forge on the following version of emacs

GNU Emacs 28.2 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.38, cairo version 1.16.0) of 2024-06-25, modified by

I'm using the straight package manager and when Forge is first downloaded and built the following errors are reported.

If I try to open magit status I get:

face-spec-set-2: Wrong type argument: stringp, reset

For reference, the use package clauses:

I believe my system has all the required dependencies including sqlite3 etc.

Any clues?

At least Emacs 29.1 is required since 35224e5.

face-spec-set-2: Wrong type argument: stringp, reset
