On version 2.2.1 and up on Android, when you select Emulator CMD to try to choose an external emulator to use, it opens the file browser to choose an executable. Previous versions would bring up a list of installed emulators that were found in the emu_autoconfig.xml so you choose one. On Android, you can point to the executable of the emulator so this effectively prevents using anything but the new builtin kodi retoarch cores (which are not all available yet).

It should still bring up the list of installed emulators if there are any Emulators configured in emu_autoconfig.xml for the selected system. Can you show me a kodi log file after trying to set the emu cmd?
