Note: this is Not a regression

Describe the bug

A crash was observed in engineering diffractions gsas2 tab while following Test 11.

To Reproduce
1- Test 11 at step 8 change max limit to 15000
2- Change Refinement Method to Rietveld
3- click on Refine in GSAS2

Expected behavior

No crash while handling the error gracefully.
