Getting rid of the sidebar

How would you guys feel, if we got rid of the sidebar and add a tab bar at the bottom?

If the tabs are customizable like I think they were in the beginning of iOS, I think I’d welcome this.
I spend >99% of time in the Podcast view and the rest on Settings and Downloads. I’m sure that’s different for others.

I do use the playlist feature every day, checking the download list frequently to see, how the download rate is doing and if there are some interesting new titles on the way.

Favorites and recent downloads are interesting additions which I like.

Whether they are in tabs or in the side menu doesn’t make too much of a difference to me. The side bar sometimes got stuck, but that’s history, apparently.
