Diminishing and stacking items in the window list

I would love to be able to make the items in the window list
smaller: half size (compared to the others), and icon only.

I would also love to be able to stack item into groups that
can be expanded and collapsed horizontally.

So far i have used mate-netbook what comes with window picker applet to get only icons in window list but it also comes with a downside, every open window title is stretched over the entire panel.
