Ability to add comments to recipe comments

When I see timeline comments from other users, I would like to reply to them.

I'm using Mealie with several people who are all tweaking recipes together. I would like to add ideas and commentary to the "I made this" timeline comments.

Please provide a concise description of the feature that would resolve your issue.

Extending the recipe comment feature to also apply to the "I made this" comments would be great

To clarify, are you asking to have 'reply to comment' enabled in the normal 'Recipe Comments' section, as well as in the timeline section?

Timeline Comment when using "I made this"

I think personally the fact that there are two different sections comments this are a little confusing. I know when I look for comments, I have to check both the timeline picture / comments as well as recipe comments because I never do the same thing twice.

During the survey a lot of people stated they don't use the timeline / timeline comments.

I think perhaps a discussion on potentially merging the timeline / comments into a single section on the recipe (perhaps a tab between them - viewing one as 'comments' and one as 'timeline', and having the ability to not just delete comments (the current feature) but also to Edit your own comment, and allowing an inline reply / thread feature.

A quick potential mockup (would likely have different colors for the bottom right, and boxes or some other outline around Comments | Timeline to indicate they are buttons to switch:

I'm thinking of the timeline comment when using "I made this". I personally I like seeing the "I made this" comments on the timeline just because I like to see what my friends are doing with their recipes, but I can admit that I might be an minority here. I think my core reaction is that if a user can produce an artifact on the timeline, I would be able to comment on that artifact. It's definitely a more "social media" way of using Mealie, but the social interaction aspect of it is ultimately why me and my circle are using it.

I don't really have an outcome in mind for this request, other than I find seeing the "I made this" comments on the timeline off-putting if I can't comment on them.
