Customize & Contextualize Shortcut Guide #28521
Comments
Aah great minds think alike! I just (re) discovered the shortcuts guide and its usefulness while looking at the various Power Toys features. And then thought again, "If only I could customize it", then thought to send feedback, then boom here I am somebody else had the same idea. Oh wait that's me 2 months ago (a totally different person now, life goes so fast ;-P). |
I was going to create a separate issue, but this seems to be related enough. It would be great if we could "swipe" left/right on the Guide, to display for example, custom shortcuts that we have set for PowerToys tools exclusively (so similar to what is displayed for the user on the Dashboard / landing page of the Settings Menu):
[ CTRL+⊞ Win+PgUp/PgDn ] or [ ⊞ Win+ALT+Tab ↹]
Just thinking out loud here 😃 |

Description of the new feature / enhancement
I find this feature quite useful, thank you!! But I'd like to add many more in there, for my other applications for example.
So essentially, could you add a feature to create (additional) custom pages (or section) to this helper ? Maybe the simplest would be to allow to quickly show/hide any picture (i.e. screen shots of shortcuts for other apps or whatever helpful reminders one has) ? I think this quick toggle popup of helpful memory reminders would be a great bonus and power tool !!
Even better, perhaps include an "application specific" list so that this would show the custom reminder set for the active window (program or webapp) active?
Scenario when this would be used?
Inside any app, hold the Windows key and the helpful reminder would show, customized with the user's own reminders (in text or image file format).
