Scrolling the mouse wheel up would go to be previous image in the list (replicating clicking the left or up arrow keys) and scrolling the mouse wheel down would go to the next image in the list (replicating clicking the down or right arrow keys). This would allow changing of the previewed image without needing to focus on the Peek window.
Scenario when this would be used?
Every day I process images via search results for many folders at once (I do a search for '.' to get every png and jpg into one search result window) and I often add metadata to the files while they are still downloading, so the search results are always updating. Windows Photos has worked so far, but a recent update killed it. Peek almost works just as well, but I can't scroll through images with the mouse wheel like I could with Photos. This means I have to do extra button presses and alt-tab between applications every time I want to preview a new image, which over time adds quite a lot of extra time and activity to what was a relatively smooth process.
Being able to scroll between image files without needing to focus on the Peek app would return a lot of lost productivity to me and save me a lot of time daily.
