Hello,
PowerToys Run was working.
I didn’t use it because it has not yet entered my usual reflexes.
Now that I want to use it actively, it doesn't work.
I type Alt + Space and it pulls down the File menu of the active window.
I tried with other keyboard shortcuts, but it doesn't work.
Do you know this problem?
Do you know the solution?
Thank you for your attention.

Hi guyz,
I had also faced something similar but by deleting data under folder
%localappdata%/Microsoft/PowerToys/PowerToys
solved my problem. Do check that.
By the way what version you are on?

Explorer says: "Cannot find %localappdata%/Microsoft/PowerToys/PowerToys"

correct path is : %localappdata%/Microsoft/powertoys

but for me deleting the content did not solve the issue

Thank you for the correct path.
I don't undestand what I have to delete.
The whole "PowerToys" folder located in the Microsoft folder?
Or all the content of this "PowerToys" folder (where there are 11 elements)?

I am facing it with certain apps, not all.
See issue #4782

I am on vesrion 0.19.0 and Its working fine. I had this issue for previous version.

@Hal34 Sorry for the trouble with path. You have to delete everything under folder.

AppData\Local\Microsoft\PowerToys\PowerToys Run

In my case its :
C:\Users\dell\AppData\Local\Microsoft\PowerToys\PowerToys Run
replace dell with your system name.

I hope it helps!

Thank you for your reply.
I am also on version 0.19.0

Tell me if what I understood is right.
In my folder C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\PowerToys\PowerToys Run
There are 6 elements :

  1. Folder named “Cache”
  2. Folder named “Logs”
  3. Folder named “Plugins”
  4. Folder named “Settings”
  5. Folder named “Themes”
  6. File named settings.json

Do you mean that I have to delete all?

0.19.1 will contain a fix to make sure PT Run shortcut works as expected.
Closing this as duplicate of #4578
Please reopen after 0.19.1 is released if the problem persists.
Thanks.
