WSL displaying wrong disk space. #10824

Distro Version

Ubuntu 22.04

Repro Steps

  1. Open your distro's terminal
  2. Run the df -h command
  3. Check the /dev/sdc device vs the /mnt/c device

Expected Behavior

Normally it should display 512gb because that is my actual SSD size.

Actual Behavior

You can see in the screenshot bellow that the /dev/sdc device that is mounted on / says it has 1000gb while the /mnt/c says the actual disk space.

Alright as I found out from here it seems like this is the expected behavior.
