My issue was resolved by adjusting the MTU of |
Actually, I found that switching the drivers for my Mellanox ConnectX-5 network interface from the built-in Windows 11 drivers to the nVidia drivers, I no longer have to adjust MTU for WSL networking to function properly. |

Repro Steps
From a WSL bash prompt, try to run two commands using ssh. For 966 bytes, the command completes, but for 967 bytes, it hangs and has to be interrupted.
Running locally, there is no problem:
Expected Behavior
Commands run via ssh in WSL should not hang.
Actual Behavior
Some ssh commands hang indefinitely and must be interrupted with Ctrl-C. It seems to be related to the length of the output.
The same command completes successfully when run locally in WSL or via ssh to the same remote host from a Windows Command Prompt. Other commands also hang when run through ssh, including
ls /tmp
anddf -h
.These same commands also hang if I start an interactive ssh session from WSL and run them in the remote shell. I can start a remote shell with ssh in Windows Command Prompt and run the commands interactively.
