The convert method takes file, path. Is it possible to pass the bytestream to the same method.

Weird workaround, but ran into the same issue and I passed the bytes to a response object:
md = MarkItDown() response = requests.Response() response.raw = io.BytesIO(content) markdown = md.convert(response).text_content
