It would be useful to have a 'Task Manager', akin to what we see in Google Chrome, that is accessible from within the application and also tuned to helping identify problematic extensions.
The motivation is due to there being a number of open tickets related to high CPU usage, but it is not always evident to track down the culprit, though generally it they seems to be extension related. While there is the Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/bin/code tool, it does not always provide enough information to identify the culprit.
I did not find any equivalent open ticket.
