Global search is only returning results in open files. #42267

  • OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.16299
  • Extensions:

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open new folder that contains files
  2. Search something that should be found in several files
  3. Notice that there are no results.
  4. Open a file
  5. Search for a word / phrase that appears in the file
  6. Notice how there are search results found, but only in the opened file.

ℹ️ Have checked the following:

  • No excludes
  • No includes
  • No extensions
  • Settings are fine

Reproduces without extensions: Yes
