Description

(your output is probably correct for Linux. Not so much for Windows' CMD prompt)

1. have to quote strings with double-quotes
2. strings only need to be quoted if they contain spaces, IO-redirection [eg. <,|,>] or ampersand [a newline alias]
3. (and the escape character is: '^')

[P.S. as for myself, I'm all set, as I wrote a Python filter for it]
